I've heard people ask "What's
in Indiana?"
While it's true we don't have beautiful smoke covered mountains, or Ocean
sunsets, we do have our special places of beauty in Indiana.
Waterfalls; an early morning fog floating like cotton candy in the valleys
of the Hoosier National Forrest.....
There are some beautiful views if you take the time to see them. I thank
Richard Fields of Outdoor Indiana for the years of inspiration his photography
has given
me, helping to fuel the drive to seek these places out and to try to produce
images that show the beauty and solitude that drew me to them.
I love waterfalls, and consequently there are several waterfall images
on this page. Cataract Falls is my favorite place in Indiana, and I have
tried to record the
falls, upper and lower, as often as I can, and in all four seasons. Just
10 miles from Cataract Falls, is the home of another nice waterfall at
McCormicks
Creek State Park. If you or your kids have never swam at the base of a
waterfall, you should visit McCormicks Creek State Park!
I hope you enjoy the images below.
This section will be growing as I continue to seek out the natural beauty
of Indiana!
